YafaRay4tS Materials Help

There are 5 materials included with YafaRay4tS:

YafaRay4tS - Shiny Diffuse Material

YafaRay4tS Shiny Diffuse Material

Color - Diffuse color.

Diffuse Refl. - Diffuse strength. [0.0-1.0]

Mirror Color - Mirror color multiplier.

Spec. Refl. - Specular reflection strength. [0.0-1.0]

Transparency - Amount of transparency. [0.0-1.0]

Translucency - Amount of translucency. [0.0-1.0]

Use Fresnel Refl. - Enables fresnel reflection.

Trans. Filter - Controls amount of tinting for light passing through the material.

IOR - Index of Refraction. Controls the strength of the fresnel effect.

Emmision - Adds brightness to the material regardless of lighting. Does not actually cast any light into the scene.

Use Oren-Nayer - Enables the Oren-Nayer specular reflectance model. (Default is Blinn.)

Sigma - Oren-Nayer microfacet distribution parameter.

Render Gamma - Set this value to the same value as the Gamma value on Render Settings (Default) tab.

Diffuse Map Settings

Use Diffuse Map - Enables the use of the currently selected Diffuse Map image file.

X Offset - Horizontal UV offset distance.

Y Offset - Vertical UV offset distance.

X Scale - Horizontal UV scale factor.

Y Scale - Vertical UV Scale factor.

Gamma - Gamma value of Diffuse Map image file. Note: this is used for linear workflow. For normal use this value should match the render gamma setting, default is 1.0

Clear button - Clears the currently selected Diffuse map image.

File Dialog button - Opens file browse dialog used to select the Diffuse map image file.

Mirror Map Settings

Use Mirror Map - Enables the use of the currently selected Mirror Map image file.

X Offset - Horizontal UV offset distance.

Y Offset - Vertical UV offset distance.

X Scale - Horizontal UV scale factor.

Y Scale - Vertical UV Scale factor.

Gamma - Gamma value of Mirror map image file. Note: this is used for linear workflow. For normal use this value should match the render gamma setting, default is 1.0

Clear button - Clears the currently selected mirror map image.

File Dialog button - Opens file browse dialog used to select the mirror map image file.

Mirror Color Map Settings

Use Mirror Color Map - Enables the use of the currently selected Mirror Color Map image file.

Bump Map Settings

Use Bump Map - Enables the use of the currently selected bump map image file.

X Scale - Horizontal UV scale factor.

Y Scale - Vertical UV Scale factor.

Strength - Strength multiplier for bump map effect.

Clear button - Clears the currently selected bump map image.

File Dialog button - File browse dialog for selecting the bump map image file.

Transparency Map Settings

Use Transparency Map - Enables the use of the currently selected Transparency Map image file.

X Offset - Horizontal UV offset distance.

Y Offset - Vertical UV offset distance.

X Scale - Horizontal UV scale factor.

Y Scale - Vertical UV Scale factor.

Gamma - Gamma value of Transparency Map image file. Note: this is used for linear workflow. For normal use this value should match the render gamma setting, default is 1.0

Translucency Map Settings

Use Translucency Map - Enables the use of the currently selected Translucency Map image file.
